Our Story

Havenheim is the business that grew out of my search for the right pieces of furniture to store and show off my book collection. My very own library. I wanted floor to ceiling books. I found beautiful bookcases online. I loved the attention to detail of the craftspeople who made them. I appreciated the care and consideration of the people who delivered them. They managed to carry the bookcases over the banister in the hallway and into the front room perfectly. I love the bookcases because they make my living room feel complete.

Then I needed to create places to read in comfort. The right rocking chair for my book nook. The perfect sofa in a cosy corner. The best headboard and pillows for reading in bed. 

Gradually family and friends were drawn into sharing the furniture that make homes feel extraordinary. Havenheim is designed to help you to create your own perfect spaces too.
