Side Tables

Side tables give you a handy spot for drinks, books and lamps. Our range includes carved mango wood designs, solid oak tables and space-saving nests of tables. Nests tuck away neatly when you don't need them. Place a side table beside a sofa or armchair. In smaller rooms, one can double as a bedside table.

FAQs

1. What is a nest of tables?

A nest of tables is a set of two or three tables. The smaller ones slide neatly under the largest. Pull them out when guests arrive.

2. How tall should a side table be?

Match it to the height of your sofa or chair arm. A few centimetres lower also works well. This makes it easy to put down a drink.

3. Where can I use a side table?

Beside a sofa or armchair is the most common spot. Side tables also work in hallways and bedrooms. Use one as a plant stand or lamp table.

4. Can I use a side table as a bedside table?

Yes, many side tables work well beside a bed. Check the height against your mattress. Choose one with a shelf for books.

5. How do I style a side table?

Add a lamp, a small plant and a book or two. Keep it simple so it stays practical. Use a coaster to protect the top.

Our Story

Havenheim is the business that grew out of my search for the right pieces of furniture to store and show off my book collection. My very own library. I wanted floor to ceiling books. I found beautiful bookcases online. I loved the attention to detail of the craftspeople who made them.
